Supported Work is an employer-friendly program which supplies employers with employees, our clients. It is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance and is only available to those people receiving Transitional Assistance to Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC). The Program's overall goal is to enable our clients to live independently.
In order to prepare our clients for the sometimes difficult world of job-searching, Supported Work clients are first trained in interviewing skills, resume writing, and job-hunting strategies. Then, a team of professional job developers assists clients in finding and holding a job.
After 30 days on job, Supported Work, combined with the Post-Placement Services Program, offers the opportunity to receive substantial help for any item related to retaining a current job position. After 90 days our clients are entitled to a $200.00 bonus. This is a great opportunity.
Supported Work has been servicing thousands of southeastern Massachusetts residents since it creation in 1982
