C.I.E.S. is an employer-friendly program which supplies employers with employees, our clients. It is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance and is only available to those people receiving Transitional Assistance to Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC). The Program's overall goal is to enable our clients to live independently.
In order to prepare our clients for the sometimes difficult world of job-searching, C.I.E.S. clients are first trained in interviewing skills, resume writing, and job-hunting strategies. Then, a team of professional job developers and career development counselors assists clients in finding and holding a job.
SER-Jobs For Progress, Inc. has been servicing thousands of Southeastern Massachusetts residents since its creation in 1982.
