This program was funded in 1983 to serve job seekers who want to enter the workforce but who don't qualify for other training programs at SER. The Program provides job-seeking skills and services to anybody without a job. Community members who need work on resume writing, interviewing skills or filling-out job applications can make an appointment with a counselor today and get started on a better future. SER-Jobs also offers free on-site daycare to all its students and clients.
The goal of the program is to help people lead more productive lives. The United Way Agency believes that citizens are happiest when they are leading productive, meaningful lives and employment is an extension of that belief. The program works with clients so they might present themselves to potential employees in a positive manner.
